Voice to Text 24 ("we," "our," or "us") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This privacy policy explains how we handle your information when you use our software application.
Audio Data: Your voice recordings are temporarily processed through the Groq API for transcription. Audio files are deleted immediately after processing and are never stored on our servers.
API Key: Your Groq API key is stored locally on your computer in Windows LocalAppData folder. We never have access to your API key.
Configuration: Your app settings (language preference, window state) are stored locally on your computer.
Hardware ID: For license validation, we may collect a hardware identifier to prevent unauthorized use.
Audio: Deleted immediately after transcription.
Text: Never stored by us. The transcribed text is pasted directly into your active application.
Config: Stored indefinitely on your local computer unless you uninstall the app.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties. Your audio data is processed by Groq's API according to their privacy policy. We have no access to your audio recordings or transcriptions.
We implement appropriate security measures to protect your data. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Our services are not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
